Responsibilities

Grinds impressions, polishes, blends welded or machined surfaces to required contour of the impression

Technique of grinding and polishing is performed to die room standards

Die and trimmer repair work consists of benching machined die surfaces, peening cracked impressions, blending, benching and polishing to put dies/trimmers in a serviceable condition

Works with various tools to include gauges, templates and measuring instruments

Sets tooling up to print

Operates gantry and overhead cranes safely
