Responsibilities

In charge of the daily activities of field Survey crew
In charge of daily crew operations such as construction staking, subdivision staking, boundary and topographic surveys
Prepares daily field notes on projects
Performs minor calculations in the field for staking
Performs daily data uploads and downloads
Maintains survey equipment and vehicles
Provide direction to survey technicians
Perform quality control
May require travel and overnight stay. Daily per diem provided for lodging and meals

Survey construction layoutTopcon equipmentData collector calculationsRead construction plansOrganizational skillsTeam collaborationIndependent work

Required

5+ years of survey construction layout experience
Ability to perform data collector calculations
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
Ability to work independently
Organizational skills in order to plan, schedule work and complete assignments within established timeframes
Capable of working with a multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers, surveyors, architects and technicians

Preferred

Experience with Topcon equipment with magnet field software a plus
