Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on instruction aligned with the MSSC CPT curriculum standards, ensuring strong competency development in:

Safety

Quality Practices and Measurement

Manufacturing Processes and Production

Maintenance Awareness

Support a fast-paced, cohort-based learning environment designed around employer needs

Assess student performance and provide feedback to ensure skill mastery and job readiness

Collaborate with college and industry partners to maintain training quality and consistency

Required

Associate's degree in manufacturing, industrial technology or related skilled trades field and three (3) years of experience; OR five (5) years of industry experience including training or mentoring new production technicians

Significant professional experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, production technology, or related fields

Strong understanding of modern manufacturing practices—including safety protocols, quality control, process workflows, and basic maintenance principles

Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping adults gain confidence and skills for high-demand careers

Flexibility to teach a flexible schedule based on enrollment demand and employer needs

This role is contingent on the candidate's successful completion of the MSSC CPT Certified Instructor pathway, which will be provided and coordinated by the College
