Responsibilities
You will lead and manage product transition from prototype to production, ensuring readiness across all manufacturing and supply chain functions
You will collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and testable
You will input to and manage project plans, schedules and deliverables for new product launches in conjunction with project management
You will create and maintain manufacturing process documentation, including work instruction, routings, BOMs, and process flows
You will coordinate pilot builds and production ramp-up activities
You will identify and mitigate risks throughout the NPI process
You will drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives during this process
You will facilitate design reviews and product readiness reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, product development, or NPI related roles
Strong experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
You must be a self-starter and a strong problem solver
You must have the ability to work as a member of a team
You must be comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic environment
You will have excellent organization and decision-making skills
You must have a high level of energy and enthusiasm
You must have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product lifecycle management and quality systems
You must have excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
You must have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
You will have experience with 2d & 3d CAD design/modeling of assemblies, schematics, parts, and draft creation
You must have a basic understanding of computer and machine programming and I/O logic
You must have process validation experience
You must have strong MS Office abilities: proficiency necessary in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
You must have experience with MS Project
Preferred
Familiarity with ERP and product data management tools is a plus
