Responsibilities
Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal policies
Manage internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives
Qualification
Required
Certified Public Accountant
Minimum of 8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, with at least 5 years of progressive audit roles in a Big 4/regional public accounting firm or equivalent experience through controllership responsibilities at a publicly traded company
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal controls
Proficiency in financial reporting tools and ERP systems such as SAP
Experience in managing financial audits and compliance processes
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Extensive experience in the aerospace or defense & space sectors, or similar industrial sectors
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Experience with advanced financial modeling and forecasting techniques
