Responsibilities

Develop and execute an exploratory project focusing on future capabilities of AI operations and machine learning

Produce production-quality code using Python and either Java or Golang, with an emphasis on statistical modeling

Leverage knowledge of containers (Kubernetes, Docker) for deployment and management processes

Engage actively in mentorship and collaboration with team members to navigate projects and goals

Document and review all developed code to integrate it into the production system pipeline

Track project progress against a detailed planner with weekly milestones to ensure predictable execution

Present findings and outcomes to leadership at the conclusion of the internship, demonstrating overall learning and contributions

Contribute to enhancing core services such as alerting, anomaly detection, and capacity planning within the Nutanix Cloud Manager portfolio

Required

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa status, such as an F1, H1B, or TN visa

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and either Java or Golang

Strong knowledge of container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

Familiarity with machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI pipeline development

Understanding of modern infrastructure concepts and practices

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in exploratory projects

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
