Responsibilities

Participate in design development

Assist in the creation of specification packages

Assist in verifying all design aspects comply with local code and apply code provisions

Assist in development of project proposals and client presentations and attend client meetings

Perform field inspections, measurements or calculations and document

Assist in research related to material qualities, feasibility, restrictions, etc

Suggest new ideas and processes, stay informed of developments in practice areas, and view obstacles as opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree (Electrical Engineering)

Minimum of 2 years' electrical (architectural) design experience

Electrical PE license strongly preferred

Proficient skills working in REVIT, CAD and AGI Lighting Software

Design and technical experience working in coordination with other disciplines

Proficient in REVIT & AGI

Understanding of code provisions, products, material information, etc

Ability to coordinate information exchange between clients, project manager, and project team

Ability to multitask

Prior experience leading teams and willingness to mentor new designers and interns

Verbal and written communications

A team player and be able to work independently

Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
