Legal Receptionist
LHH is partnering with a reputable firm to identify a Receptionist for its Charlotte, NC office. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day front desk operations, serving as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing clerical support as needed.
Responsibilities
Receive and direct incoming calls using a multi‑line phone console
Take and relay accurate messages; use a computer to assist in routing information
Greet clients and visitors; ensure proper clearance and routing in accordance with firm policies; escalate difficult situations to a supervisor and/or building security
Validate parking tickets using vendor‑specific software
Receive deliveries and route to appropriate recipients
Schedule and maintain conference room reservations and records
Provide overflow clerical support (e.g., stuffing envelopes, collating materials) to assist other departments as needed
Maintain regular, in‑person attendance for this interactive front‑desk role
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer‑service orientation
Reliable and punctual; consistent attendance and follow‑through
Experience operating a multi‑line phone system and basic office software (e.g., Outlook/Teams/Excel)
Solid communication, organization, and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment
Prior reception or administrative experience required
Ability to work full‑time on‑site
Preferred
law firm or professional services experience
