Senior Mechanical Engineer
BorgWarner is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the mechanical design of hybrid and electric inverter and converter systems for global automotive customers. The role involves designing mechanical components, performing mechanical analysis, and interfacing with both customers and suppliers to meet program needs.

Responsibilities
Support the mechanical design of hybrid / electric inverter and converter systems for various global automotive customers
Design mechanical components in compliance with the BorgWarner Bill of Design
Design product and components to meet customer specifications
Perform mechanical analysis and verification, which includes thermal management, vibration capability, thermal shock, and tolerance stack
Document designs as needed and required
Develop and interface with supply base in support of program needs and purchasing initiatives
Interface with customers as needed
Provide written and oral presentations as needed
Ensure following a structured problem-solving approach to resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering
60 months of experience in job offered or related position in mechanical hardware automotive design
Experience with automotive environmental and durability requirements
Experience with NX or similar CAD applications
