Responsibilities
Maintain, patch, and upgrade infrastructure across production and non-production environments
Administer IBM i (AS400 / iSeries / System i) systems, including high-availability and disaster recovery (MIMIX or similar)
Perform OS and server maintenance across AIX, Linux, and cloud platforms
Support middleware platforms including WebLogic, Tomcat, ESB, and Mule
Provide database administration and support across System i DB, Oracle, and MariaDB (file changes, schema updates, tuning, and troubleshooting)
Manage and renew SSL certificates, SSO and SAML integrations, and secure partner connectivity
Monitor system health, availability, and performance using tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk
Respond to incidents, outages, and performance issues, including root-cause analysis
Support vulnerability remediation from Nexpose and penetration testing
Perform AWS maintenance including AMIs, patching, and infrastructure upgrades
Develop scripts and automation to improve system reliability and reduce manual effort
Work closely with platform, networking, security, and application teams
Qualification
Required
5+ years of combined infrastructure and software engineering experience
5+ years of IBM i (AS400 / iSeries / System i) experience
Experience with high-availability and disaster-recovery platforms (MIMIX or similar)
Strong database experience with System i DB, Oracle, and MariaDB, including file and schema management
Experience supporting enterprise middleware (Mule, WebLogic, Tomcat, ESB, or similar)
Experience managing SSO, SAML, SSL certificates, and secure authentication systems
Strong production support experience in highly available, business-critical environments
Demonstrated commitment to security and compliance in daily operations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience working in Agile environments using Jira
Experience with Splunk for monitoring and logging
Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
Experience with AWS infrastructure
Experience with ESB and enterprise integration platforms
