They are seeking a Senior Manager to lead software architecture and development for device endpoints that enable connectivity for U.S. Government customers, focusing on mission-critical applications in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Lead multiple teams (manager of managers) of firmware, embedded systems and services software engineers
Manage and develop employees, including hiring, retention, performance management, mentoring and capability/skill development
Work with peer teams and customers to design suitable software systems and interfaces to fulfill the government customer use cases
Collaborate with peer teams to integrate various system elements, both hardware and software
Qualification
Required
10+ years of engineering experience
5+ years of engineering team management experience
10+ years of software development experience
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
10+ years of embedded software development experience with proven expertise in mission-critical systems development, specifically satellite or ground based communication/networking systems
Preferred
Experience partnering with product and program management teams
Experience in Networking/Wireless Communication Systems or RF engineering
Experience leading teams in aerospace or other safety critical industry
Experience establishing metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence
