The Wastewater Technician will oversee, operate, and maintain a complex industrial wastewater pretreatment system, ensuring optimal treatment processes and equipment functionality.

Responsibilities
Operate and monitor all wastewater pretreatment plant equipment and make necessary adjustments based on findings
Take periodic samples and perform and record the results of various tests to assess and monitor the condition of the system and determine optimal chemical and biological treatment
Maintain the efficiency of plant operations, including maintenance of equipment pumps, filters, and machinery, testing, quality control and record keeping procedures
Read and record meter and gauge readings
Maintain plant records, including operations logs, daily diaries, computer data entry and chemical inventories
Ensure timely reporting to facility management if an upset or exceedance occurs
Performs ground maintenance and housekeeping duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
Dependable, reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed
Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience
Preferred
Prior experience in a waste treatment environment
High school diploma or GED
