Responsibilities

Direct daily activities of IT staff, including full-time, part-time, temporary, and student employees. Ensure timely resolution of requests and mediate client-staff issues
Promote strong communication, foster a positive and inclusive work culture, set clear goals, provide feedback, and conduct annual performance reviews
Manage security incidents, privilege access, and mitigate vulnerabilities. Administer servers, desktops, and mobile environments; ensure proficiency with key software suites
Oversee IT projects such as upgrades, software deployments, and system changes. Develop long-term technical solutions and prioritize team workload
Manage IT budgets, maintain asset inventories, allocate resources effectively, and oversee workspace organization and equipment deployment

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 7-10 years of relevant IT/computer support experience
Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
Strong project coordination skills, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and problem-solving
Excellent oral and written communication; skilled in facilitating discussions in various settings
Expertise in cross-platform environments (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android) and educational/administrative applications
Advanced knowledge of hardware/software systems, databases, networking, and enterprise application management
Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and troubleshooting best practices

Preferred

Experience in personnel management (scheduling, training, hiring, performance feedback, conflict resolution)
VMware Center experience
General knowledge of A/V systems, integration, and scripting (PowerShell)
