Responsibilities
Lead and manage day‑to‑day incident response operations within the North America SOC, including incident detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery
Hire, train, mentor, and grow a high‑performing SOC analyst and response team based in Texas
Act as the escalation point for high‑priority or complex cyber incidents and coordinate effective response strategies
Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, runbooks, and SOC standard operating procedures
Collaborate with global cyber defense teams and cross‑functional partners (e.g., Threat Intel, Vulnerability Mgmt, Forensics, Legal, Compliance) to align detection, response, and reporting workflows
Provide executive‑level reporting on incident trends, SOC performance metrics, and operational risks
Ensure incident response activities comply with global regulatory and organizational requirements
Qualification
Required
Proven expertise in cybersecurity incident response and Security Operations Center (SOC) leadership
Strong technical background with hands‑on experience in SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and forensic tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender)
Deep knowledge of incident response methodologies, SOC operations, and security frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK
Experience managing and mentoring high‑performing teams
Excellent communication skills with ability to brief both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
