Start in 2026 SpringNovacore is a newly formed specialty insurance entity aiming to transform the commercial insurance experience. They are seeking high-performing college students majoring in Insurance/Risk/Actuary Science for their 2026 Summer Internship Program, where interns will assist Underwriters and engage in various underwriting processes.

Responsibilities
Fully assist Underwriters in all aspects of the underwriting process
Interact with agents to provide superior customer service via phone and email
Review submissions for completeness, accuracy and make requests for information
Set up rating in system for underwriter to price
Bind, book, bill and issue policies
Responsible for review of all documentation of underwriting files with underwriter’s guidance
Follow up on open items and request additional items to finalize checklist
Attend team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail; strong focus on accuracy of information transferred from applications to system for rating
Ability to service and maintain strong relationships with brokers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical/critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and stay organized
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates teamwork capabilities
