Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot QC laboratory instruments

Follow good laboratory practices

Order supplies and maintain instrument preventative maintenance schedule

Interface with other departments when required

Evaluate assay runs for accuracy and acceptability to Quality Control procedures

Enter results into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) as required

Required

Associate's degree or higher in a science field or equivalent clinical lab experience

3+ years of QC or clinical laboratory experience

Strong knowledge of Quality Systems and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Experience in the use of clinical laboratory techniques and equipment. Experience in running chemistry, hematology, and immunoassay analyzers a plus

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and other departments

Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data

Ability to prioritize tasks, remain flexible, manage time effectively and work independently
