Responsibilities

Develops product designs and/or test methods

Performs or defines complex tests for evaluation of product, equipment or processes

Works independently in planning and coordinating resources necessary to complete assignments

May assist with creating major product presentations

Reviews and analyzes a variety of data to determine requirements for meeting engineering objectives

Interacts independently with customers, vendors, and Amphenol personnel on significant design, process or evaluation issues

May direct other employees

Coordinates and provides support to other departments within the Company

Required

Bachelor's Degree in related engineering discipline or equivalent education and experience

Experience with Computer-Aided Design (Mentor Graphics PADS or equivalent) required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office required

Is innovative and demonstrates significant ingenuity in problem solving and suggesting plans of action

Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work

Work collaboratively with others on the design engineering team to accomplish required tasks to support the interests of the business

Ability to maintain dedicated focus on intricate details of engineering designs

Willingness to contribute extra effort in support of critical business opportunities

Must be able to legally work in the United States; we are unable to provide sponsorship
