Judicial Assistant I - Criminal and General Sessions
The City and County of Denver is seeking a Judicial Assistant I to join the Criminal and General Sessions Division. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, maintain accurate court records, and assist with various clerical functions to support the judicial process.

Responsibilities
Provide excellent and impartial customer service to all who access the court- via telephone, in person, and in writing
Create and maintain an accurate court record
Clearly and effectively explain complex legal processes to customers with various needs
Perform a variety of clerical functions, including: cashiering, fulfilling record requests, filing motions, delivering mail, and processing applications for community service and payment plans
Provide input on process improvement to coworkers and the leadership team
Qualification
Required
Education: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate
Experience: Two (2) years of clerical experience
Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements
License and Certifications: None

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus (not required)

Experience with customer de-escalation and conflict management
Experience with electronic filing systems/databases

Possess the ability to perform as an integral part of a team
