Responsibilities
Perform revenue recognition activities in accordance with ASC 606 (required) and ASC 842 – Lessor accounting (preferred)
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
Manage stock controls and support monthly accounting operations
Assist with financial close activities and financial statement preparation
Support SOX testing and ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls
Participate in process workflow improvements, including testing and implementation of new or enhanced accounting processes
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA whether active or inactive is required
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with hands-on experience in ASC 606
Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and close processes
Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience with ASC 842 preferred
Experience in a fast-paced and/or scaling organization preferred
