Coordinating with various stakeholders regarding assigned cases
Reviewing and interpreting medical reports to determine the most appropriate course of action
Maintaining accurate and complete case documentation using electronic daim files housed in a shared network drive, spreadsheets, and database
Evaluating, authorizing, and/or recommending claim settlement solutions
Facilitating resolution of employment status for employees unable to return to work in their usual occupation

Under the general direction of the Branch Chief, a Supervisor I, in the Division of Safety and Management Services (DSMS), the incumbent serves as an analyst providing administrative, training and analytical support for the Workers' Compensation and Return-to-Work Program
Consulting with employees, supervisors, and managers regarding medical issues, reasonable accommodation, return to work, and other related concerns
Coordinating with various stakeholders regarding assigned cases
Reviewing and interpreting medical reports to determine the most appropriate course of action
