Platform Engineer II
NCR Atleos is a leader in expanding financial access, headquartered in Atlanta. They are seeking a Platform Engineer II who is passionate about technology and problem-solving, responsible for developing and troubleshooting payment transaction flows and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expert for on-premise payments platforms as relating to Settlement, reconcilliation, and operational aspects of CDS settlement platforms
Assist in developing and troubleshooting transaction flows as related to settlement and reconcilliation
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to transaction processing and settlement
Build automation and checkpoints to proactively monitor system health and reduce manual intervention
Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and configuration management
Contribute to automation efforts for deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks
Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides
Ensure compliance with internal security policies and financial industry standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 4+ years of experience or advanced degree with commensurate level of work experience
Advanced programming skills in multiple languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.)
Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure and services
Proficiency in designing and managing Kubernetes clusters
Strong understanding of distributed systems and networking
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
Ability to optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex issues
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
