Light Industrial Sales Manager
Metric Geo is a well-established industrial solutions provider serving manufacturing and light industrial customers. The Light Industrial Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth within an assigned territory, blending new business development with ongoing account management to support customers’ operational and technical needs.
Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and territory planning
Manage and expand relationships with existing industrial customers
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment or service solutions
Coordinate with internal teams to support smooth handoff from sales to service
Act as a trusted point of contact to address customer questions or issues
Maintain strong organization, follow-up, and time management across the territory
Qualification
Required
Experience in outside or field-based sales, preferably selling industrial vacuums, pumps, or air compressors into industrial markets
Mechanical or technical aptitude; exposure to industrial equipment is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable managing a sales territory
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with standard business software; CRM experience preferred
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally within the assigned territory
