Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test Wi‑Fi software features on RDK‑B–based gateway and extender products
Apply strong knowledge of the IEEE 802.11 protocol, including WPA, RADIUS, WPS, 802.11n/ac/ax, and related Wi‑Fi technologies
Diagnose and troubleshoot customer Wi‑Fi issues in partnership with internal support and engineering teams
Develop new Wi‑Fi features and enhancements for the RDK‑B platform

Qualification

C/C++ developmentIEEE 802.11 protocolsLinux operating systemsWi-Fi software developmentTCP/IP internalsGit/GitHub

Required

Minimum 3 years' development experience with C/C++ in embedded Linux environments
Strong understanding of IEEE 802.11 Wi‑Fi protocols and wireless standards
Experience designing, developing, and testing Wi‑Fi‑related software features
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including kernel‑level concepts and system debugging
Deep understanding of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols (DHCP, DNS, HTTP)
Experience using Git, GitHub, or other source control tools
