Responsibilities

Assigned to cover one or more of the Justice of the Peace Courts
Handle arraignment, pretrial dockets and trial
Prepare complaints, charging instruments, review and respond to emails from defendants and defense attorneys
Other duties in the Justice of the Peace Courts as assigned by the Chief Prosecutor of the Justice of the Peace Court Section

Qualification

Required

Must have a J.D. from an accredited law school
Texas Bar certification
Must be a Texas licensed attorney
