Responsibilities
Writes material which conforms to current B&H style and standards
Organizes and prioritizes assigned products based on internal guidelines
Responds to update requests to correct or modify product descriptions
Stays informed on current market trends and technologies
Able to research and quickly learn about new products
Qualification
Required
Enthusiastic about the current state of the computer industry and technology
Knowledgeable about how their computer and its performance/specs impact their own creative workflows or gaming experience
Working knowledge of various computer technologies and components
Ability to explain why they use the computer configuration they own
Familiarity with how different types of gear can be matched to different levels of creatives or gamers
Specific knowledge and insight on a broad range of topics including comparisons between brand offerings, basic understanding of how to build a computer, opinions on processors or graphics cards, allegiance in the Windows vs Mac debate, and preference for digital vs film
Past computers or industry-related experience
Knowledge of the differences between different drive types and generations of graphics cards
Ability to build a computer
Understanding of how AI-based tools can be benefitted by recent hardware
Knowledge of optimal USB generation or Thunderbolt cable for certain applications
Strong writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
Preferred
Education or similar experience in relevant field
Sales/retail experience preferred
Minimum 2-4 years creating original written content in relevant categories and/or working in a related field
