In-House Counsel
GO Media is a dynamic and innovative media company at the forefront of the industry, seeking a skilled and experienced In-House Counsel to join their team. The role involves providing legal support for business operations, including contract management, overseeing real estate transactions, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and execution of a variety of contracts from development through full execution
Develop and implement efficient contract management processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
Manage communication with outside counsel regarding contract negotiation
Advising to ensure all contractual arrangements are compliant with legal, regulatory and Company requirements
Monitor implemented contracts through periodic review and communication with the various business-owners
Draft and review business operating agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Provide legal guidance on the structure and governance of business entities
Facilitate and coordinate communication with and among operational leadership of multiple companies
Manage and oversee real estate transactions, including property acquisitions, leases, and dispositions
Conduct due diligence on real estate matters and provide legal advice on related issues
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases for various business purposes
Advise on lease-related matters, including renewals, amendments, and terminations
Provide complex legal analysis of federal and state laws and regulations related to multiple industries
Ensure contracts are reviewed periodically with the business owner and updated as necessary
Maintain appropriate documentation of contract development
Facilitate review of proposed rates for services with Chief Financial Officer to ensure rates are fair market value and otherwise compliant with federal regulations
Review liability provisions Risk Management as appropriate and necessary
Qualification
Required
Degree - Juris Doctorate
3 years of experience as a practicing attorney
Licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina
Knowledge of basic contract law principles
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to identify legal issues beyond scope of assigned work
Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
