Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, and systems) throughout the entire product lifecycle
Guide efforts in electrical integration, testing, and validation of UAS systems
Mentor junior electrical engineers and foster a culture of technical rigor and innovation within the engineering team
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering
Experience: 9+ years of top-level electrical system architecture experience, ranging from concept to integration of unmanned systems, including airborne systems
Technical Skills: Expertise in advanced circuit design, power electronics, embedded systems, signal integrity, system safety, EMI/EMC compliance, and environmental qualification testing
Industry Background: Experience in DoD or defense program environments (SBIR/STTR, classified programs, etc.) is required
Documentation: Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and defining electrical subsystem requirements
Clearance: US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance is required
