The Judge Group is currently seeking a Risk Specialist to support enterprise risk management activities within the financial services domain. This role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional who can work independently with minimal guidance, focusing on identifying and managing risks and controls across the organization.

Responsibilities

Partner with business teams to identify, document, and map risks and controls; assist with RCSA preparation

Develop and maintain dashboards for monitoring and executive-level reporting

Maintain risk artifacts, including risk registers and control inventories

Serve as a liaison between business units and risk teams to ensure timely progress on risk initiatives

Manage issues through the full issue management lifecycle

Collaborate with FLRM program teams (Issue Management, Control Testing, Policy Governance) to align priorities across the organization

Required

Minimum 5 years in enterprise risk management, operational risk, internal audit, or related functions within financial services or regulated industries

Banking operations and fraud experience; familiarity with Machine Learning and Data Science fundamentals

Strong understanding of COSO ERM, ISO 31000, Basel II/III; regulatory knowledge of financial services risk types (operational, fraud, compliance)

Hands-on experience with risk assessments (RCSA), control mapping, issue management

Exceptional analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
