Responsibilities

Provides administrative and operational support to the Controlled Substance Utilization Review and Evaluation System (CURES) Program, which includes the Information Exchange Web Service (IEWS)

Supports the CURES Help Desk Section by addressing the more complex Help Desk subject matter questions

Serves as a subject matter specialist working independently or with others performing a wide variety of consulting and analytical assignments

Provides CURES training presentations to clients

Responds to the complex inquiries from new delegates and non-DEA licensed physician and surgeon applicants and users regarding registration and access to CURES

Oversees the creation and/or revision of associated CURES requirements and ensuring the requirements identified by the Program meet legislative requirements

Develops and maintains the Program’s expanded delegate and non-DEA licensed physician and surgeon process documentation

Responsible for tasks associated with interstate data sharing process

Develops and maintains the program’s interstate data sharing process documentation
