Responsibilities

Formulate and blend batches using computerized HMI/PLC system as well as manual blends
Follow production tickets to mix and react raw materials resulting in finished products
Comply with plant policies and safety procedures
Assist in formulation of each batch of product
Maintain a safe and clean work area
Ensure there are no unlabeled containers in work area of any type
Assist all plant personnel in seeking ways to eliminate waste and inefficiency throughout plant
Assist formulator in monitoring inventory
Other duties as required

Required

High School diploma or equivalent education or minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar environment in lieu of education
Physically and medically capable of wearing a respirator
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to work with and understand computerized control screens
Ability to multitask/formulate across multiple vessels and reactions

Preferred

Associate's degree preferred
