They are seeking a Safety & Compliance Engineer to ensure safety and regulatory compliance through design, performing safety analyses, maintaining requirements traceability, and implementing lean processes.

Responsibilities

Assist with safety analyses and trace requirements to design and test artifacts
Maintain a simple regulatory gap list with owners, timelines, and evidence needs
Coordinate internal/external tests and gather documentation for audit readiness
Embed safety considerations into day-to-day engineering decisions with peers

Qualification

Required

BS in Engineering; exposure to functional safety or product compliance work
5+ years of practical experience in safety and compliance engineering, ideally in EV or automotive industries
Structured thinker with strong documentation and coordination skills
Experience collaborating across mechanical, electrical, and software teams

Preferred

Qualified candidates working from our EV facility and HQ in Woburn, MA (20 minutes from downtown Boston) are preferred and will be prioritized
State whether they can either work full time in Woburn MA or are open to relocation to the NorthEast area
