Responsibilities

Responsible for the direct care of the residents

Implement the teaching of daily living skills through the use of goal plans for each resident

Function as a team leader

Responsible for the supervision and provision of direct care to residents of the ICF/IDD

Address the personal daily living needs of specific ICF/IDD residents

Perform work according to specific ICF/IDD guidelines

Carry out work under the supervision of the Division Director

Qualification

Human Services experienceDirect Care experienceSupervision skillsTeam leadershipCommunication skills

Required

At least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Additional education plus five (5) years' of experience in the Human Services field

At least one year of experience as a Residential Direct Care Worker or two years of direct service experience in a human services agency, one of which must have involved working with intellectually disabled individuals or any equivalent combination of experience and training
