Responsibilities
Driving to and from job sites
Collection of samples
Observations
Perform quality assurance tests
Preparation and submission of daily reports
Interaction with clients, contractors and other design professionals
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience working in the construction industry
Experience reading and comprehending plans, specifications and test procedures
Working knowledge of concrete, soils, base and asphalt pavements
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to complete electronic reports us an on-line database system in the field on a daily basis
Currently have or able to obtain or already have Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I
Currently have or able to obtain SB-102 and HMAC 1B Certifications
Ability to travel 20% of the time
Ability to obtain missing certification within 6 month of hire
Preferred
Highway or building construction experience and a proven history of working well with contractors and owners to accomplish construction tasks is preferred
Any other certifications are a plus (i.e. SB101, SB102, ACI-Strength, 1A, 1B)
Ability to use and navigate SiteManager is a plus
