Junior Graphic Designer (Marketing)
Trope Publishing Co. is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support our marketing and design teams for our growing book and print business. The Junior Graphic Designer will work closely with marketing and design teams to create marketing-related graphics and collateral for Trope’s book publishing program.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the marketing, editorial, and design teams to create and produce marketing-focused digital assets across channels, including website graphics, product images, social media graphics, and email newsletters
Support ongoing website updates by designing and optimizing visual assets, including product imagery, banners, and promotional graphics
Design and update marketing collateral such as book brochures, seasonal sales catalogs, sell sheets, proposal decks, and other branded materials
Create sales presentations and visual assets that support partnerships, wholesale, and business development efforts
Adapt existing designs and campaign concepts across multiple formats and platforms while maintaining brand consistency
Product photography of books for marketing, website, and sales use
Working with the larger marketing team, support launches, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives
Perform other related duties and contribute to special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
1-2 years relevant work experience (graphic design, digital design, etc)
Strong layout and typographic skills
Computer proficiency including the Microsoft Office Suite and Mac OS
Adobe Suites proficiency including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt work based on constructive feedback
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must have the ability to plan ahead and juggle priorities across multiple projects with a meticulous eye for detail
