Confidential is a growing organization in the consumer products sector, and they are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead warehouse and value‑added services operations. This role will drive cross‑functional excellence, scale operational capabilities, and deliver best‑in‑class service performance while overseeing daily operations and strategic process improvements.

Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse and VAS Managers to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient inbound, storage, production/VAS, and outbound operations

Own daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting (e.g., productivity, cost per unit, on‑time shipping, inventory accuracy, quality, safety) and implement corrective actions when performance deviates from goals

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to align labor, capacity, and service levels with business requirements

Drive strategic projects to improve process efficiency, standard operating procedures (SOPs), 5S practices, and automation/technology enhancements (e.g., WMS optimization, scanning, labeling, VAS workflows)

Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement; oversee OSHA adherence and lead root‑cause analysis for incidents or service issues

Develop and manage warehouse and VAS operating budgets, track variances, and identify cost‑optimization opportunities

Partner with HR on workforce planning, staffing, training, performance management, and succession planning

Provide concise operational updates and recommendations to senior leadership, including risk, capacity, and project status

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered)

7+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in distribution, 3PL, or manufacturing environments

Proven record in KPI improvement, process optimization, and leading cross‑functional initiatives

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in WMS/ERP systems and operational dashboards

Demonstrated people‑leadership capabilities and a hands‑on approach to driving accountability and engagement
