Responsibilities

Oversee the process of manufacturing FAI sample parts and support production on Cincinnati CNC press brakes

Provide engineering support for manual TIG welding and manual sanding/finishing processes. Help team members develop an understanding of the equipment, manufacturing process, and quality expectation

Provide guidance to maintenance mechanics when troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. Lead root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective measures

Work with design and quality engineering to improve manufacturing drawings and inspection plans as part of new product introductions and continuous improvement projects

Ensure safety throughout manufacturing practices, procedures and equipment

Required

Experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment

Knowledge of CNC press brakes

Experience with manual TIG welding

Experience with manual sanding/finishing processes

Ability to provide engineering support

Ability to lead root cause analysis and implement corrective measures

Experience working with design and quality engineering

Knowledge of manufacturing drawings and inspection plans
