Responsibilities
Preparing and submitting regulatory reports to the EPA, state DEQs, and local agencies
Compiling, validating, and interpreting environmental data (soil, groundwater, air, surface water)
Translating technical monitoring results into clear, compliant narratives, tables, and summaries
Managing reporting calendars to ensure deadlines are met—every time
Tracking project milestones and including progress updates in reports
Collaborating with engineers, scientists, labs, consultants, and project managers
Maintaining organized records for compliance and audit readiness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in the environmental or oil & gas industry
Strong technical writing skills and an eye for detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools
Ability to interpret and apply environmental regulations
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Preferred
Background as a Geologist, Engineer, or Scientist in environmental remediation
Familiarity with state-level environmental regulations
Project management experience
