Electrical/Computer Engineer (Early Career)

They are seeking an Entry Level Electrical/Computer Engineer to assist in the design and development of electrical systems, with a focus on next generation sensor technology.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and equipment
Perform electrical testing and evaluation of equipment and systems during R&D and Manufacturing cycles
Assist in the preparation of electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications
Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure project success
Research and evaluate new electrical technologies to stay up to date with industry trends
Add value in development and support areas related to embedded systems and signal processing
Work closely with photonics engineers to gain knowledge around optical/electro-mechanical product development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related
Experience in embedded systems and/or signal processing thru internships, course-work, or side projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Some exposure and interest to photonics or integrated optics
Ability and interest to work in laboratory or manufacturing environments
