This role requires deep technical knowledge of prepress systems and the ability to ensure every file meets the highest production standards while overseeing daily operations and driving process enhancements.

Responsibilities

Oversee the prepress department, guiding daily operations and driving process enhancements that elevate quality and efficiency

Collaborate with production and account teams for efficient job flow and file handoff

Prep, troubleshoot, and optimize print files for litho, digital, and wide format output

Maintain and enforce prepress SOPs to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency

Review client-supplied artwork, ensuring files meet print specs and color standards

Work with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and RIP software (Prinergy, Caldera)

Manage templates, color profiles, and print areas for new and existing products

Provide internal support and occasional customer-facing guidance on print setup

Maintain organized digital file systems and drive continuous improvement in the department
