Studio Project Manager

Responsibilities
Coordination & leadership: Staff shows, confirm call times, brief crews, track labor, and lead day-of coordination in the studio
Client liaison: Join client calls, answer questions about studio capabilities/constraints, and route design items to the Studio Engineer
Partner/vendor coordination: Align subrentals and partner services to the plan from the Studio Engineer; confirm deliverables, timelines, and access requirements
Show prep & readiness: Coordinate checklists, gear pulls, room prep, and rehearsals per the Studio Engineer’s configuration; distribute current documentation
Run-of-show documents: Works with clients and partners to maintain and circulate packs, crew sheets, call sheets, contact lists, and quick-reference guides for recurring show types
Change tracking & communications: Log changes, risks, and action items; communicate impacts to clients, vendors, and internal teams; escalate to engineering as needed
Billing & actualization: Track POs, subrentals, and change orders; reconcile labor and expenses; compile billing packets; coordinate with accounting for accurate, timely invoicing and project close-out
On-site execution: Support safe, efficient setup/operation/strike; monitor timelines and handoffs; capture notes for post-show improvements
Quality & standards: Ensure productions meet MeyerPro standards; provide feedback to improve workflows and SOPs
Qualification
Required
5+ years in studio, broadcast, cinematic, or live production coordination/management; prior crew leadership and vendor/client coordination required
Comfortable discussing studio workflows (cameras, switching, routing, audio/comm, control) to set expectations and plan logistics; system design remains with the Studio Engineer
Strong scheduling/coordination, documentation, billing/actualization, and follow-through across multiple concurrent shows
Excellent client-facing and internal communication; clear written notes and status updates
Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; comfort with trackers/templates and viewing diagrams
Customer-service mindset, calm under pressure, solution-oriented
High school diploma or equivalent (trade/technical training may substitute in part for experience); valid driver's license; professional appearance; physical ability commensurate with role
