Together, we deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services across a wide range of medical, surgical, and paediatric specialties, including the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit
Beyond the wards, our team is actively involved in dispensary services, medicines supply and production, medication safety initiatives, clinical trials, and antimicrobial stewardship

This role is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished leader to step into a fast-paced service undergoing significant transformation, where no two days are the same
Working closely with the Pharmacy Director and senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping workforce capability, operational performance, and service sustainability across the department
The position has broad responsibility across workforce management, governance, and business operations
You will oversee staffing and rostering, support recruitment and professional development, ensure compliance with legislative and policy requirements, manage budget and procurement functions, and maintain robust security, facilities, and asset management systems
With a strong focus on continuity of patient care, quality improvement, and best practice, this role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in complex environments and is motivated to drive meaningful change
You will be supported by a strong, collegiate management team with a campus-wide presence and a shared commitment to medication safety

We’re seeking an experienced pharmacy leader with a strong background managing complex services in a tertiary hospital environment, underpinned by a commitment to patient-centred care and compliance with legislative, policy, and accreditation standards
The ideal candidate will bring advanced expertise in medication management and safety, proven capability leading large multidisciplinary teams and budgets, and experience across a diverse range of pharmacy services, including sterile manufacture, clinical trials, medication safety, antimicrobial stewardship, cancer care, and specialist dispensing
A highly effective communicator and mentor, you will thrive in change, drive quality improvement, and contribute to the future direction of pharmacy practice

Proof of eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration agency, Pharmacy
