Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical control circuits including power distribution, control logic, and system interlocks
Own controls and interlock design for laser- and chiller-based systems
Develop, program, and debug PLC logic to support system sequencing, safety, and automation
Collaborate closely across hardware and firmware domains to deliver fully integrated control solutions
Support system validation, testing, and troubleshooting in a project-driven environment
Contribute to documentation related to control architecture, interlocks, and operational logic
Qualification
Required
Strong background in electrical engineering with hands-on circuit and controls design experience
Proven expertise in PLC programming (any major platform; ability to adapt across vendors is key)
Experience designing system interlocks and safety controls
Solid understanding of industrial control hardware (panels, sensors, actuators, relays, etc.)
Comfortable working on complex, large-scope engineering projects
Experience with laser systems, thermal/chiller systems, or other precision industrial equipment
Exposure to projects involving both controls hardware and firmware integration
Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field
