Deer Creek - Program Coordinator

Acadia Healthcare is responsible for delivering and implementing behavioral health or recovery programs within a facility. The Program Coordinator will provide patient care, collaborate with treatment team members, and ensure proper documentation while maintaining a positive and professional attitude towards patients.

Mental Health Care

Responsibilities

Provide patient care to include coordinating activities, providing companionship and assisting with basic daily needs (dressing, bathing, eating)
Collaborate with treatment team members to assist with patient treatment and/or care goals
May serve as a co-lead for groups
Monitor the daily well-being of patients and identify need for social intervention
Ensure all documentation regarding the program, such as care, treatment or incidents, is completed in a clear, concise, professional and completed in a timely manner
Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned

Qualification

Behavioral health experienceCPR certificationDe-escalation/restraint certificationBachelor's degree in Human ServicesFirst aid certificationEmpathyProfessional attitude

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field preferred
One or more years previous experience in behavioral health with population of the facility preferred
Certification in specialty of program preferred
First aid may be required based on state or facility
