Civil Engineer EIT/PE (3+ Years of Experience)

Anderson Perry & Associates, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated engineer-in-training or professional engineer to join their team, providing personalized engineering services to communities in Oregon and Washington. The role involves working on municipal water, wastewater, and transportation projects, developing project plans, and assisting with client relations.

Responsibilities

Work on a team to fund, plan, and design a variety of municipal water, wastewater, water resources, utility, site development, and transportation projects
Develop project scope, budget, schedule, and project delivery plans
Develop studies, reports, design drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents
Make public presentations
Provide funding and bidding assistance, and construction management for water, wastewater, site development, other municipal infrastructure projects, and/or transportation
Assist with client relations

Qualification

Civil Engineering DegreeEngineer-in-Training CertificationWater/Wastewater Design ExperiencePublic Speaking SkillsCivil 3D ExperienceClient Relationship DevelopmentSchedulingResource ManagementTeam Collaboration

Required

A four-year civil or mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university
Three plus years of relevant experience designing water, wastewater, water resources, and/or other infrastructure projects for public entities (cities, counties, ports, districts, etc.)
Engineering Intern/Engineer-in-Training certification
Valid driver's license

Preferred

Public speaking skills with experience participating in meetings with clients, the public, and contractors
Familiarity with municipal infrastructure funding programs and procedures
Experience in developing and writing planning documents, work agreements, and task orders
Experience with Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and other PDF tools is desired but not mandatory
Experience working with subconsultants
Willingness to contribute to a team environment
Experience with scheduling, managing resources, and producing timely deliverables
An interest in developing effective, long-lasting relationships with clients, peers, and management
