Troon is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their Finance team as an Intern. The Finance Intern will assist with the preparation of basic accounting transactions and reports while gaining practical experience in finance within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and entry of basic accounting transactions, including but not limited to fixed assets, lease accounting, daily revenue reporting

Assist in the data collection associated with and the subsequent preparation of sales tax returns

Preparation of basic balance sheet account reconciliations

Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting

Assist with special projects supporting corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, and tax as necessary

Required

A recent graduate or in the process of working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field

Must have knowledge of GAAP, finance, and budgeting

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office skills required

Preferred

Auditing, Tax, or other Compliance related experience a plus
