Responsibilities

Co-manages various HR compliance programs through the review and understanding of employment law requirements and options in partnership with legal partners

Co-manages various HR/Legal Compliance programs to include, but not limited to, the employee hotline (AlertLine), immigration sponsorship, background adjudication, state and federal posting compliance requirements, Form I-9 & E-Verify compliance, policy management, policy training, AAP, ADA, bids and contracts, legislative updates implementation, unemployment claims and partnering with legal and key stakeholders

Stays abreast of all applicable legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR activities to ensure the enterprise policies, procedures, and reporting activities are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to employment

Ensures proper and accurate invoicing for vendor provided services, coordinates timely payment and tracks posting/payment of funds

Creates and maintains organization-wide establishments to ensure accurate Affirmative Action statistics and other data required for federal, state and municipal regulatory agencies

Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools

Acts as a liaison between all levels of line and staff management, compensation and benefits department, legal counsel, and outside service providers. Assists with resolution of associate relations issues

Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data

Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process

May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel
