Responsibilities

Drive initiatives to maximize network scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency, ensuring product deployment and maximizing Return on Investment (ROI)

Identify infrastructure issues and solutions to improve network planning across all domains

Influence and collaborate with key stakeholders (i.e., engineering, product, architecture) to navigate ambiguity and implement planning strategies

Serve as the team's recognized subject matter expert, staying current on network technologies and developing best practices

Utilize data analysis and modeling to forecast future demands and clearly articulate planning strategies, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in program management

8 years of experience in networking, network capacity planning or optical networking

Experience in network infrastructure components and technologies, including data centers, long haul/DWDM, IP network and submarine network

Experience in developing and implementing network infrastructure plans

Preferred

Advanced degree in a technical field

8 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects

Experience in driving innovation and delivering impactful results

Experience in working in a global organization with stakeholders

Experience in network optimization, capacity planning, and cost modeling
