Responsibilities
Sales & Account Development – Identify, pitch, and maintain relationships with on-premise (bars, restaurants) and off-premise (retail) accounts
Tastings & Staff Training – Educate bartenders, bar managers, and retail staff on the story and quality of our mezcal
Brand Activation – Represent the brand at industry events, promotional activations, and consumer tastings
Market Insights & Reporting – Track account progress, provide feedback on sales trends, and communicate regularly with the team
Qualification
Required
Live in the SF Bay Area (preferably South Bay & East Bay)
Passionate about mezcal and skilled in sales
Develop relationships with both on-premise (80%) and off-premise (20%) accounts
Conduct tastings and educate industry professionals
Get mezcal featured on cocktail menus and retail shelves
Identify, pitch, and maintain relationships with on-premise (bars, restaurants) and off-premise (retail) accounts
Educate bartenders, bar managers, and retail staff on the story and quality of mezcal
Represent the brand at industry events, promotional activations, and consumer tastings
Track account progress and provide feedback on sales trends
Communicate regularly with the team
Experience in hospitality, wine and/or spirits sales, bartending, or restaurant management
Comfortable pitching, networking, and closing deals
Enthusiasm for mezcal and spirits
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
