Work with and support the firm’s overall real estate and other practices nationwide

Required

Juris Doctorate (JD) from a strong accredited law school

Must be licensed in the State of Texas

Strong verbal skills, writing skills, and academic record

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

At least some significant experience drafting and negotiating commercial lease agreements

At least two to five years of experience with commercial real estate transactions

Preferred

Experience representing clients engaged in mixed-use developments, and also in the purchase, sale, leasing and financing of retail, industrial, multifamily and office properties

Experience with pre-litigation dispute resolution in real estate matters

Experience advising municipalities or major cities on affordable housing development and/or in land use or zoning matters
