In this role, you will lead marine and waterfront infrastructure projects while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with clients to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design efforts on complex waterfront projects, including pile foundations, bulkhead walls, prestressed concrete, and seismic design
Manage project scope, budgets, and schedules while coordinating across disciplines
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure technical excellence and compliance
Mentor engineers and foster knowledge-sharing within the team
Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted technical advisor

Required

15+ years of structural design experience, ideally with waterfront or marine infrastructure
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis required); Master's preferred
Licensed Structural Engineer (SE)
Expertise in concrete, steel, and timber design, plus experience with piles, bulkhead walls, prestressed concrete, and seismic design
Knowledge of ASCE 61-14, AASHTO, IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, and NDS
Strong communicator with proven ability to lead projects and engage clients

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Software proficiency in SAP2000, L-Pile, Excel, and VBA
